A LOVE PLAY, a film of tiny moments quilted together, is a story about willow trees and armpit smells and little birds and two lovers. A tender musing on time and trust and relationships, it asks if love can still exist in a world that is intrinsically painful? And, in the middle of uncertainty, do things still grow, despite and in spite of the violent conditions of our world?
Ladeath and Relax
By SaVaughn McClaine
Premiering on Zoom 11/14 at 1 pm Central
Two short staged readings: LADEATH, is a play about a recently promoted black man named De'Auan who is physically impacted by the mistake of drinking LaCroix. Although this story revolves around LaCroix, there are numerous themes that relate to the black experience and working-class black people dropped inside of this very short project, which makes this play somewhat deeper than it may appear on the surface, it just depends on how you want to interpret it.

RELAX, which I wrote to promote safe-drinking at parties for all of my African-American friends that are experiencing their first predominantly white high school party.
This Is What I Miss The Most
By Gena Treyvus
Premiering on Spotify 11/12
A series of monologues that revolve around our feelings and thoughts about getting a theatre degree in 2020. We want to respond to the moment, but it’s daunting. We desire in this piece a way to express our hopes, fears, and anxieties. We want to feel like playwrights, and we want to do the work.
